RIVeR v2.6 is finally out and it comes with the very asked feature of batch processing and parallel processing ! Batch processing is specially designed to process many videos recorded from a fixed camera. You can now use RIVeR not only on Windows but also on IOSπ and Linuxπ§ ! What is new in details ? In the main menu: Batch processing !π€ Manual Tracking feature Embedded PIVlab 2.58 (Release September2022) Parallel processing π Fixed minor bugs In the discharge module: Added (+ and -) STD area on the velocity profile Added 5% and 95% percentile area on the velocity profile Display of velocities from manual tracking and possibility to use thes value for discharge computation. Fixed minor bugs We hope that you enjoy and thanks again for the feedback ! Stay tuned because Good news is coming !
As you know RIVeR lets you rectify results with Control Points that are in the same plane but also when you have a 3D cloud of points. And here you can whatch a video of the propper workflow. The GRP.xls file is a 6 columns files with the following structure: GRP1 X1 Y1 Z1 x1 y1 GRP2 X2 Y2 Z2 x2 y2 GRP3 X3 Y3 Z3 x3 y3 GRPn Xn Yn Zn xn yn With (X,Y,Z) the real world coordinates and (x,y) the pixel coordinates The Real World Roi.xls file must have a 2 colums structure: Xi Yi Xj Yj Xk Yk Xi Yi Disclaimer: The video processed in this tutorial is property of USGS and is preliminary or provisional and is subject to revision.
